And with a lackluster loss to West Virginia in the first round of the NCAA tournament, the Wildcats bow out of an unusual, speculation-ridden, sad season of basketball. These kids worked really hard over the last year, but it just wasn't enough for our Wildcats- injuries, controversy surrounding coaching, lack of depth on the bench. Too many factors presented themselves that the 'Cats just couldn't overcome. Here is to the hope that the seniors move on to great things and that the rest of the team comes back for another year with Lute.
Congrats to the team on making the 24th entry into the NCAA tournament for the University of Arizona and keeping our streak alive. Here's to next year!
